i haven't stepped in there for the longest time.. it used to be our regular meeting place coz it's so near to sch and we could all saunder down and still be able to catch the happy hour at baden
but now that we're no longer cooped up in nus and work ends at 8.. heading down to good ol' holland takes determination and resolve that this lazy lump of me lack a whole deal of.. so gradually i forgot how great dear erdinger tastes at baden or how infectious the music is at walas..
until dear ol' holland got revisited.. TWICE.. this week :)
it's undeniable that the journey there was arduous (in both occasions i had prior engagement in town which is considerably nearer to holland v compared to my humble abode) but when i got there.. it was worth it
first it was a catching up session with S and B.. i had such a great time as we updated each other with our lives.. conversations flowed back to back infused with ripples of laughter.. those kind that make dear S's eyes fill with tears heh!
then it was lastnight's drinking session at baden.. erdie (yup we're that tight that we have pet names for each other;p) really tastes different there! Innitially I only wanted a round of the happy juice but my sadly incompetent resolve allowed me to guzzle down my second;p then we had tze char after the drinks.. it's a pity the bbq wings are sold out when we got there
so so.. dear ol' holland i'm sorry for neglecting you all this while you'll always have a special place in my alcohol-filled heart
p.s: dear science friends i know "alcohol-filled heart" may bug you but i'm rushing out of my home now and have no time to come up with something better ;p
